History

Year 2002 also marked the beginning of our technical collaboration with other key PCB manufacturers. Meadville embarked on an alliance with Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd ("Hitachi Chemical") to manufacture certain advanced laminate products.

In 2003, our technology alliances strategy was further boosted with a licensing agreement with TNCSi and for HDI technology transfer. This includes an agreement to manufacture PCBs for the Japanese market.

To meet the growing needs of our business worldwide, Dongguan Meadville Circuits Limited (DMC) was launched in 2004. The continued focus on offering creative and innovative solutions, coupled with world-class manufacturing facilities backed by a seamless global network of support and service infrastructure, has enabled Meadville to advance into the top ranks of the global PCB supply chain.

On 2 February, 2007, Meadville was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, marking a new milestone for the Group. This listing enables Meadville to continue to propel its growth in terms of Capacity, Capability and Technology Leadership.

Guangzhou Meadville Electronics Co., Ltd. (GME) and MICA-AVA (Guangzhou) Material Company Ltd.(MAGL) are slated to commence operations in 2008.

In addition to these 2 new facilities, in late-2007, Meadville formed a strategic alliance with Aspocomp Group - the 2nd largest European PCB manufacturer. The resulting synergy includes enhancements and expansion relationship and positioning with top-tier customers, as well as to expand our manufacturing footprint into Suzhou (China) and Chennai (India).
